The Overnight Walk is here! On Saturday, June 3, thousands of people affected by suicide will gather at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's 26th annual [Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk]([link removed]). From there, they will start their 16+ mile journey, walking through the night to raise awareness and funds, and forge lifelong connections with a community of people who understand.
For those who have participated, whether they have lost loved ones to suicide, have their own lived experience, or simply support the cause, The Overnight has been a transformative experience. It is a powerful opportunity for Walkers to feel seen and understood, and to support others who struggle or have been affected by suicide loss.
We hope you'll join us on June 3 for this life-changing event, where you can walk through the darkness and into the light, and send the message that no one is alone.
