After nearly a decade of scandals, GOP Texas AG Ken Paxton has been impeached by a Republican-controlled Texas House.
There are 20 articles of impeachments against him — alleged bribery, misapplication of public resources, false statements in official records, obstruction of justice, and more — based on his relationship with a real estate investor and political donor. The People’s Lawyer is supposed to serve their constituents, not their friends in exchange for home renovations. Paxton is finally being held accountable for his corrupt ways and his disregard for the people of Texas.
