Tuberville is Right to Hold the Line Against the Pentagon’s Taxpayer-Funded Abortions
- For months, Tuberville has objected to the Biden administration’s abortion agenda, vowing to block the promotions of military generals and flag officers until the Pentagon rescinds its policy allowing three weeks of paid leave and reimbursement of travel expenses for military personnel and dependents who are seeking an abortion.
- The mission of the US Military is to defend and protect all American lives—not subsidize the practice of destroying innocent and vulnerable American children via abortion with taxpayer dollars.
- Heritage is running a digital ad campaign encouraging everyday Americans and military veterans to sign a letter supporting Tuberville.

Debt Limit Vote Fails Everyday Americans
- At a time when American families are suffering from the inflation and interest rate crisis, Congress voted to give Biden a blank check on the debt limit—ensuring that our nation will rack up at least $3.5 trillion in new federal debt before the debt ceiling suspension end.
- Even the few pro-growth policies are overshadowed by the loss of the REINS Act, failure to incorporate all of the Lower Energy Costs Act (H.R. 1), the failure to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act’s green tax subsidies, and flawed reforms to TANF.
- Wednesday’s vote falls far short of addressing the outcry from the American people to shrink the government and allow them to keep the fruits of their labors.

- What was once obscure has become obvious: Presidents today exercise a fraction of the executive-agency control that Franklin D. Roosevelt did when he and Congress created our modern government.
- The next president needs a White House made up of people with firsthand knowledge of how bureaucratic politics operate and the will to use that knowledge for a system overhaul.
