Hello John,
We're delighted to announce that Jennifer Salmon has been selected to join Ireland’s national and international climate change efforts ([link removed]) , for a term of 20 months.
Meet this year's Climate Youth Delegate for Ireland >> ([link removed])
The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, working in collaboration with NYCI, has established the Climate Youth Delegate Programme, which:
* provides the Department with a channel to support the active participation of young people in international climate policy and processes
* Ensures Ireland’s official delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) benefits from the perspectives and knowledge of youth in its work
Jennifer will be engaging in extensive consultation throughout the year. Those holding youth events in Ireland can contact
[email protected] (mailto:) to invite the Climate Youth Delegates to attend.
