If you’re following the news then you know the state is escalating its attacks on the working class and comrades across the country. Below are some ways you can stand up and fight back with us, with comrades in other organizations, and with your time or your money.

Yesterday, a law enforcement agency in Georgia sent SWAT teams to arrest and raid the homes of three civil rights organizers with the Atlanta Solidarity Fund. Organizers with the Atlanta Solidarity Fund provide legal support and mutual aid, including bailing #StopCopCity protesters out of jail, passing out Covid tests, and hosting block parties. This was a violent act to cut protestors off from legal aid.
Across the country, state actors have escalated their violent attacks on community organizers and protestors. In Atlanta, they executed forest defender Tortugita, and took 42 protestors as political prisoners and charged them with domestic terrorism. And have now acted to repress the bail fund organizers.
New York City has also targeted those protesting the murder of Jordan Neely with domestic terrorism charges. Here in Louisiana, our legislature is attempting to make it a crime to be within 25 feet of a police officer.
This is fascism. And we have a duty to fight back against fascists. Apathy and silence only serve to strengthen their resolve to repress working class activists fighting for a better future.
Read Atlanta DSA’s statement here. To help the Atlanta Solidarity Fund get back on their feet, donate to the National Bail Fund Network.
Our comrades with Southern Solidarity would greatly appreciate donations and more volunteers to support their work this Summer! Southern Solidarity is a grassroots, community-based group of volunteers in solidarity with the unhoused in their quest toward liberation. They organize the delivery of food, medical resources and basic needs directly to the unhoused in the downtown area of New Orleans because our government has not filled this need.
Donate to help them get more supplies to distribute. Volunteer for food prep and delivery.
Support our comrades with Real Name Campaign by emailing the governor to tell him to veto any anti-LGBTQ+, anti-child bills that come across his desk.
