Last week, Senator Collins justified her vote to acquit Donald Trump by saying that she “believe[s] that the president has learned from this case.”

Let’s see. Since then Donald Trump has:

*Again claimed that it was a “perfect call” and that he did “nothing wrong.”
*Said that his Democratic opponents should be “held accountable.”
*Fired Lt. Col Alexander Vindman from his post on the National Security Council, and Gordan Sondland from his position as Ambassador to the European Union.
*Questioned the faith of members of Congress -- at the National Prayer Breakfast.
*Called Nancy Pelosi a “horrible person”, James Comey a “sleazebag”, and the Mueller investigation”bulls**t” -- in the East Room of the White House.

And that’s just the last few days! Doesn’t look like Trump has learned anything at all.
