Friend — we’re reaching out because we’ve extended our Annual Fund deadline to tonight for a major effort to slam MAGA House members for their attacks on the environment. It’s an important one. Here’s why:

MAGA radicals pushed the U.S. to the brink of a default crisis and economic collapse, while attempting to eliminate crucial and longstanding environmental protections and clean energy investments from the Inflation Reduction Act. Their extreme debt bill, dubbed the “Default on America Act”, was jam-packed with unrelated provisions to enrich their fossil fuel donors and passed the House earlier this month.

What they didn’t count on is that in some cases, their votes are threatening popular projects in their own districts. Huge mistake.

President Biden and Speaker McCarthy stuck a deal earlier this week, but we CANNOT let MAGA Republicans get away with their recklessness and extremism. We’re hoping to go big on an ad campaign targeting Lauren Boebert, Don Bacon, John James, Marc Molinaro, and Nancy Mace. We need these ads to dominate the airwaves — so we’ve extended the deadline to pitch in to tonight.

I really hope we’ll hear from you — because this is a goal that matters. These extremists’ constituents deserve to know that their representatives voted to kill good-paying clean energy jobs in their districts, while giving even more tax breaks to Big Oil.

We need to make sure that these communities hear about the real costs in terms of jobs and critical services their families could feel if Republicans in Congress get their way the next time. Everyone deserves to know when politicians put polluters before people, but they could successfully sweep this under the rug unless we escalate our campaign.

The numbers don’t lie: communities in red districts and states stand to lose the most if Republicans succeed in gutting clean energy investments. Repealing the Inflation Reduction Act will kill over 77,000 jobs in House Republican controlled districts.

When lawmakers do the bidding of Big Oil at the expense of their own constituents, it really matters. But it won’t make a difference if their own constituents never hear about it, Friend. That’s why we’re asking:
