When I say that my opponent, Lauren Boebert, doesn’t show up for the people of Colorado’s third congressional district, it’s not some figurative statement. Boebert literally doesn’t show up.
Last night, after months of negotiating, the House of Representatives passed the debt ceiling deal struck between Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden. And Lauren Boebert didn’t even cast a vote.
Apparently, she was ‘running late.’
What exactly was more important to Representative Boebert than showing up and doing her job? The people of our district deserve an answer.
Was she on yet another fringe podcast, spouting off about some wacky conspiracy theory? Did she lose track of time while asking her corporate PAC donors how she should vote? Or was she just – once again – too busy being focused on Lauren Boebert?
We came so close to defeating Lauren Boebert last year. After all of the ballots were counted and re-counted, I lost by just 546 votes in what was the closest race in the entire country.
Now, I’m running again, because it’s time the people of Western and Southern Colorado have a representative who actually shows up and makes the time to represent them.
Lauren Boebert and her Super PACs have already started attacking me with nonsense lies, and I’m sure they’re going to try to make things nasty once again. We can counter their lies, hold Boebert accountable, and win – but I’m counting on grassroots donors like you to give now if we’re going to be able to do it:

There’s only one thing worse than a member of the U.S. House who is more focused on herself than the district.
And that’s a member of the U.S. House who is more focused on herself than the district… and doesn’t bother to show up to vote.
