Dear John
For 100 years, groups in the United States have been advocating for constitutional equality, and that fight is not over yet. This past April the majority of Senators voted in favor of SJ Res 4, the resolution to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment (the ERA) as the 28th Amendment, but it did not gain the required 60 votes required to pass. So we are still fighting! Now, there is a similar resolution in the House, H.J. Res 25.
Join our campaign to encourage Congress to recognize the Equal Rights Amendment as the 28th Amendment by contacting members of the House of Representatives to co-sponsor HJ Res 25.
