This past weekend, Team Lorena was all over the state. From Weld County to Colorado Springs, and in Garfield County on the Western Slope. Volunteers were out collecting signatures in the seven Metro Denver Counties, Grand Junction, Pueblo, and San Luis. Lorena was in Carbondale Sunday morning going door to door while it was snowing because real outreach can't afford a snow day.
She spent all weekend meeting residents in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, including two meet and greets, door to door canvassing, a youth meet and greet that included a Facebook live Q&A, and still this morning, she got up, energized and went to work.
This is the type of tireless leader we need in our U.S. Senate, one that will brave the storm, walk through knee-high snow to meet a Coloradan, one that will sit and answer questions from youth honestly, not a Senator that won't even show up to forums, or hold a town hall in over two years.
