ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Recognised qualification in mechanical engineering (HNC or Equivalent)
- The ideal candidate shall have experience and knowledge of the inspection and testing of Pressure Systems, District Heating and steam pipework systems, heat generation, control and heat transfer equipment.
- Knowledge of LOLER requirements
- Experience with variable speed drives, PID controllers, temperature and pressure control systems using 0-10V and 4-20mA signals an advantage.
- Experience and knowledge associated with the safe isolation and re-commissioning of plant for the issue of Permits to Work

Nottingham City Council has been successful in securing funding to implement a 2-year strategy and change management programme for its parks & open spaces, heritage and public realm. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the Programme Manager in delivering the Future Parks Accelerator Programme from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for managing identified elements of the programme from inception to delivery, including the planning, leading and delivery of specific projects relating to the programmes outcomes. You must be a qualified Project Manager and have detailed experience of managing complex project functions including business planning, budget management processes, risk management,?procurement procedures and contract / commissioning processes.

  • Detailed in depth knowledge and application of Project Management theory and practical techniques to enable the monitoring and control of multiple projects.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of working with and managing external consultants and specialist companies.

  • Experience in undertaking project evaluations and identifying lessons learnt for projects.
  • Developed project and planning skills, with the ability to prepare and implement focused action plans based on the development and effective implementation of quality management systems and good practice.
