Pride Month kicks off today, and at VoteRiders that means expanding our efforts to support LGBTQ+ voters to get the ID they need. This means an ID that accurately reflects their identity and allows them to cast a ballot that counts.

You can chip in to fund our work supporting LGTBQ+ voters to get the ID information and help they need during Pride Month and all year long.    

Trans and nonbinary people face unique challenges to securing identification that is acceptable for voting and that reflects their name and/or gender identity. For transgender and nonbinary voters whose ID doesn’t match their name and gender, voter ID laws can make the experience of casting a ballot confusing, intimidating, and disempowering.

Here’s how you can help us get the word out to all voters this Pride Month:

• Share this essential information with your family, friends, and community. Spread the word about #TransPeopleVote on social media.
