John —
A competitive runoff election next Tuesday could have huge consequences for our progressive movement in Denver.
Progressive Colorado Councilmember Candi CdeBaca is facing a serious challenge from Darrell Watson — who has been endorsed by the Denver GOP and is in the pocket of real estate developers and big corporate landlords.
As the first Democratic Socialist on the Denver City Council, Candi has been a strong advocate for housing justice and the working class — passing policies to stop evictions, put an end to wage theft, divest from private prisons, and protect those who live in mobile homes.
But her campaign to make housing affordable in Denver is a threat to real estate developers and corporate landlords who are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat her.
With just 5 days before the runoff, will you split a donation between Candi’s campaign and the Colorado Working Families Party to help us keep this progressive champion in office?

During the Denver City Council Election in April, Candi received 44% of the vote, and Darrell received 43%. Now both candidates are headed for a runoff next Tuesday, and it's anyone’s race to win.
The real estate and landlord lobby have already spent about $600,000 to prop up Darrell and launch nasty, disingenuous attacks on Candi. We need to send a message to wealthy corporate interests that Denver is not for sale!
Will you split a donation between Candi’s campaign and the Colorado Working Families Party to help propel Candi to victory? With the race this close, every dollar helps.
