Late last year, the Department of Homeland Security updated its terrorism advisory bulletin to draw renewed attention to domestic terror threats that put the LGBTQ, at a higher risk.

My opponent, Jack Bergman not only voted against the 'Respect for Marriage' Act, he also voted against a bill protecting minority groups from domestic terror. His votes in the House put our fellow Americans in danger.

LGBTQ+ rights are human rights. Period.

Threats of violence against the LGBTQ+ community are intensifying, and our friends in rural America need allies the most. I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you on our way to Congress.
