As a voter horrified by the events that occurred on January 6th, 2021, I want to thank you all for your dedication to investigating the terrible crimes committed before, during, and after that fateful day by Donald Trump and his far-right insurrectionist allies.

Since the beginning, you have called the January 6th Insurrection for what it truly was – an invasion of our Capitol by a dangerous mob, led by former President Donald Trump.

Trump’s Republicans continue to spread misinformation about the Insurrection – they claim it was peaceful, lawful, and just another day in Washington, DC.

But your historic televised hearings proved without a doubt that the Insurrection was unlawful and destructive – and that everyone involved must face justice for their crimes.

Most importantly, you all choose to do the right thing and protect our democracy, no matter what it means for your political careers.
