Just a short not to say thank you.

We hit our May fundraising goals thanks to a last minute surge or thousands of donations made by regular folks chipping in what they could afford yesterday.

And let me just say this to those who have given -- and those who are considering whether to donate in the future -- these donations mean a lot to me.

I grew up poor. I think you know that. But what that means is I understand better than most what a $20 donation means to someone making little more than the minimum wage.

It is nothing like a hedge fund manager giving $6,600 that they don't think twice about.

So my promise to everyone who has donated, and even those who have not, is that we will be good stewards of your support. We will spend it on what we need to win this race.

And when I am elected to the Senate, you can count on me to vote for the interests of working folks who desperately need more representation and people who look out for them.
