There’s an uncomfortable truth in politics that the candidates who spend the most money usually win.

I could spend hours talking about campaign finance reform and the need to overturn Citizens United, but honestly, nothing is going to change before midnight tonight.

Our massive victory in Wisconsin last month is proof that when everyone steps up and chips in, we can amplify a state supreme court race, shine a spotlight on it, and make it the national story. We’re capable of that, and when we do it, we win.

I honestly believe that we can do that again and re-elect Andy Beshear in Kentucky.

We can expand our majorities in state legislatures and put the GOP on their heels going into 2024.

But none of that will be possible if we keep missing big fundraising benchmarks.
