John, I was supposed to be in Pennsylvania this week meeting with constituents, but, hello from Washington. At last, it looks like we have a bipartisan agreement to raise the debt ceiling, stop a default, and follow through on the commitments we made to slow climate change via the Inflation Reduction Act, and invest in our infrastructure via the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. This is good news. 

What’s not good news is what I just learned from my campaign team: They let me know that we’re still falling short of our end-of-month goal.

As we all gear up for summer, this is a busy time, John. I’m holding town halls, launching a task force on equitable economic growth, and reintroducing legislation to accelerate small business technologies and job growth. Throughout it all, I’m so grateful for the grassroots support I’ve received – because I know that in this political climate, nothing is promised. 

The race to win in 2024 has already started, John. I have big dreams for this country, and I won’t rest until we’re much closer to achieving them.
