We know the number of veterans in Congress remains near a record low. New Politics is doing everything in our power to change that.

The reality is, there are a growing number of barriers standing in veterans’ way to continuing their services in politics. I founded New Politics to create a path for veterans and other national service leaders to explore, prepare, and run for office — all at no cost to them. Our candidates, no matter their political party, are capable of serving a great cause because they have served before.

It has been the honor of my life to help support veterans, who have given so much to serve our country. Veterans are some of the best servant leaders and through our work, New Politics has helped elect 36 veterans to public office, in 2023 we are growing that number.
