This week Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton was impeached by the Texas House, immediately expelling him from office while his trial begins.

This has been a long time coming. Ken Paxton is one of the most extreme, far-right Republicans in Texas—and he’s finally facing some accountability for his actions.

It was just two months ago that Ken Paxton joined anti-abortion activists suing Ground Game Texas to try and block our initiative to decriminalize abortion. We defeated Ken Paxton then—and now we’re working to defeat politicians like him across Texas.
