*Gov. Reynolds: Empowering Parents Wasn’t a Slogan, It Was a Promise*

DES MOINES – Today, applications for the Students First Education Savings Account (ESA) program opened at 8:00 am – prompting thousands of applications from Iowa families.

“Iowa changed the face of education, funding students instead of systems. Giving parents the power to determine the best education for their children wasn’t just a slogan, it was a promise. Today, I’m proud to say we delivered,” said Gov. Reynolds.

Since the opening of applications just this morning, over 5,000 families have applied for the Students First ESA program.
