Americans everywhere are wondering why Washington, D.C. politicians are threatening to plunge our country into a crippling recession with the loss of millions of jobs, access to capital for small businesses, and affordable prices for food and housing all on the line.
What kind of "representatives" of the people would be so reckless, so out of touch, and so ideologically-driven that they would not only threaten economic catastrophe but would vote and fight to make it actually happen?
The answer is simple: Lauren Boebert and Ken Buck, two of Colorado's most toxic, corrupt, and dangerous GOP members of Congress.

These two aren't interested in governing, or in finding compromise solutions to issues. They want to grandstand, gain power, and line their own pockets along the way.
Ken Buck has never voted to lift the debt ceiling, including voting against his own party's disastrous debt ceiling bill last month. Buck says he doesn’t want to "give Democrats a blank check to add trillions of dollars to the debt in the next two years.”
But the debt ceiling is for past spending—not future spending. And that includes the exorbitant cost of tax cuts for millionaires and global corporations: things that Ken Buck supported when Trump was president.
Colorado is changing fast, becoming more aligned with Democrats in every part of the state. But we can't wait for change to happen: we have to work for it, too.
