Kim Reynolds continues to prove she is one of the most political, partisan Governors in the country. Yesterday, she deployed 130 National Guard and State Patrol officers to the Texas southern border, about 1,000 miles from any part of Iowa. 

This is yet another instance of her using her office to pour gasoline into the culture war fire while ignoring problems facing everyday Iowans such as rising costs, a workforce crisis, and more accessible healthcare.

John, We need more people who will stand up for Iowans. Will you help us do that by chipping in $15 today?

It’s just another instance in a long line where she glosses over and ignores the problems facing every day Iowans while she uses her platform to divide Iowans with a partisan wedge. It’s wrong.

Especially after one of the most divisive and cruel legislative sessions in recent memories, this just shows that her playbook is clear.
