You may remember me from the campaign. I’m Team Healey’s finance director.
From time to time I would briefly interrupt our standard programming on here to update you about monthly fundraising goals we were trying to hit.
I imagine you have plenty of other emails to read. I also like to be direct. So here’s the deal.
- We think Maura’s doing a great job as Governor.
- We think it’s just as important to support her work after the election as it was before she got into office.
- That means Team Healey isn’t going to take our foot off the gas.
To do that, we’ve worked to set monthly grassroots fundraising goals. For May, we’re aiming to raise $6,000 in online donations. That will help us stay active, support Maura, and keep advocating for her vision for a stronger Massachusetts.
If you want to support her and you believe in that vision, then we’d appreciate your help.
I know fundraising emails can be annoying, so thanks for reading. Just like during the campaign, I promise that I won’t spam your inbox, and when I do reach out, I won’t try to clickbait you into opening my emails or scare you into donating.
My philosophy is to be honest about our goals and what we’re trying to achieve. Earlier this month, Tara told you she’d rather earn your support because you want to invest in what we’re building in Massachusetts. Not because you feel pressured to chip in because we made you feel like the sky is falling. I agree.
