FIRST: Summer made history when she was elected Pennsylvania's first Black Congresswoman. Super PACs spent millions on attack ads during the primary and general elections, but our people-powered movement proved Pittsburgh is ready for progressive change.

THEN: Summer got right to work. Since joining Congress, she's co-sponsored critical legislation like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All and introduced the Hazard Pay for Health Care Heroes Act — all while supporting the progressive movement in Western Pennsylvania and helping elect Sara Innamorato as the Democratic nominee for Allegheny County Executive.

NOW: We need to prepare for the attacks that will come our way. Last cycle, Republicans added PA-12 to their list of TOP target races, and already this cycle, we saw an influx of negative, sexist TV ads attacking Sara Innamorato.
