John,
Following the ground breaking local elections on 4 May, scroll to find out what's going on across the Green Party of England and Wales and how you can get involved 🔽

Following the historic local election results on 4 May, Greens have been forming administrations around the country. The party formally took over control of mid Suffolk council saying it is “determined to make a difference”.
Council leader Andy Mellen said the administration would respond to issues raised by residents during the campaign. He said it was “quite a big step for the party…now the hard work begins”.
Greens have also formed administrations with other parties in places like Lancaster, Worcester, East Hertfordshire, Lewes and Warwick.
But in some places there has been frustration at Labour HQ interfering to stop local parties forming administration with Greens even if it means going into coalition with the Tories. So much for Vote Labour to get the Tories out!

🌎Stand up against privatised water companies with 'Chateau Sewage':
The privatised water companies continue to pour sewage into our waterways while paying large dividends to their shareholders (these rose to £1.4 billion last year). To highlight this ongoing scandal, Campaigns Committee has designed a bottle of ‘Chateau Sewage’ to present to Conservative MPs and/or water company bosses. Everything you need to do this is in the campaign pack here, which also includes other actions and materials to help defend and restore the natural world. Great Big Green Week (10-18 June) is a great time to be doing this!
