Three Days Left to Donate for Birdathon - Help Us Hit $15k!

A reminder that this Friday is the deadline to donate to your favorite Birdathon Team. Consider cheering on our youngest team ever, the Veery Best, which is made up of three 13-year old middle-school students. This team saw 32 species at Huntley Meadows, including two Indigo Buntings and two Prothonotary Warblers! Let's applaud these very young birders and their parents who support their love of birds. You can make a donation to the Veery Best team here.
This year's Birdathon has been our largest to date with 15 teams, five of them new teams. Participants range in age from 13 to 78. So far we have raised $12,639, surpassing what we raised last year but still just $2,361 shy of our goal of $15,000, with just three days to go. I believe we can make it with one last push. A returning team, Two Drakes, A Hen and a Chick, birded from 3:30 AM until 9:30 PM! I hope their dedication and perseverance inspires you to make a stretch gift. Please donate by Friday, and join us on June 4 for our Annual Meeting when we announce the winners and the record-breaking results. You can view all of our impressive Birdathon Teams here.
