The zombie dirty deal has risen again. This time they are trying to attach it to must-pass legislation around the debt ceiling!

A deal negotiated between President Biden and House Speaker McCarthy has taken shape in the new Fiscal Responsibility Act, which would approve the Mountain Valley Pipeline, gut protections such as NEPA would again put our communities at risk. It will also cut important safety net programs that are essential to the most vulnerable among us. We need to again stand against this dirty side deal and pass a clean debt ceiling bill.

We’ve signed onto a letter urging Congress to vote on a clean debt ceiling bill and reject these poison pills.

Can you please call your Representative at 202-224-3121 TODAY BEFORE 8:30 PM EST and tell them to pass a CLEAN Debt Ceiling bill? (we are trying to create momentum before the vote likely to occur this evening at 8:30 PM EST)
