Despite clear evidence of corruption and other misdeeds, Republicans in Texas covered for Ken Paxton for years.

While I’m thrilled to see he is finally facing accountability in the form of impeachment, their inaction is a disturbing example of a growing tolerance for lawlessness and extremism.
