I wanted to reach out before tonight’s critical fundraising deadline to update you on what we’re seeing in the fight for reproductive rights across the country. Before I get into it, will you make a donation before tonight’s deadline to help us reach our $10,000 May goal to power our work to preserve reproductive freedom?

Right now, bans on abortion are coming down all across the country. 12 states have near-total abortion bans on the books, and 7 more have major restrictions in place. Our work last November set the precedent that voters can and will protect their access to abortion — we proved that 5 times over in the 2022 midterm elections. 

So from here, we have two routes we can take. We can sit by and watch as extremist officials across the country put even more abortion bans into effect, or we can take action. 

10 states remain where ballot measures could be used to restore or permanently protect abortion access — 6 of which we’re exploring campaigns for right now to launch ahead of the 2023 and 2024 cycle.
