CND is seeking to recruit a new General Secretary, to facilitate our core message that all nuclear weapons are morally and practically indefensible and should therefore be abolished.
The General Secretary is responsible for the management of CND’s staff team, together with the co-ordination and oversight of our campaigning, membership, fundraising, and peace education work, as well as our interaction with the wider movement, civil society and political processes.
With the Doomsday Clock at just 100 seconds to midnight, now is a crucial time for CND. As the danger of nuclear war increases, CND is stepping up its work for peace and disarmament.
