Friend, thank you for your allyship and support of LGBTQ young people. Pride month is coming up, so we wanted to share more about how we're celebrating Pride as a community.


** 🔍 Learn More: The History of Pride

Pride was born from a riot: the Stonewall Uprising was a series of protests by the LGBTQ community, predominantly led by Black and Brown trans and queer people. Stonewall served as a catalyst for the LGBTQ rights movement in the US and around the world. On the one year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the first Pride Parades were held in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

** 🏳️‍🌈 Ways to Celebrate Pride and Support LBGTQ Young People

Learn more about allyship to LGBTQ young people. Our 2023 National Survey on the Mental Health of LGBTQ Young People ([link removed]) found that 82% of LGBTQ young people reported that it would be helpful for the people in their lives to know more about support and acceptance of LGBTQ identities. Advocate against harmful and discriminatory policies targeting LGBTQ young people.
