John,
As we plunge into the warmer summer months, I want to share some of what we’ve been up to.
Earlier in May, the Delaware Young Democrats held their reorganizing convention where they elected new officers and got to work planning for the work ahead to mobilize young voters across the First State. |
May also saw the return of two popular county party fundraisers. The Kent Democrats hosted their first Spring Cocktail Party since the pandemic in Dover. Then last weekend the Sussex, Dems broadcast their third annual Dem-A-Thon virtual fundraiser. Congratulations to Jane Hovington and John Starke on two great events!
Finally this month, we celebrated the career of Senator Carper who announced that he will not seek re-election. Now, we must make sure we preserve Senator Carper’s legacy by making sure we elect a Democrat to take his place.
The work we do is possible because of your support. Can you make a contribution to help keep Delaware blue? Every donation, no matter how small, helps us continue our important work of electing Democrats up and down the ballot. |
Thank you for all of your support and commitment to our Party. We are only as strong as our members, and I look forward to working with all of you in the months ahead. Sincerely, Betsy Maron Chair, Delaware Democratic Party |
