This is how atrocities can happen.

Whenever we hear about atrocities like genocide, rape prisons, or
concentration camps, we wonder "how could this horrible thing have
happened?"

It turns out, all too easily.

Misinformation brings panic, then panic brings fear. When a person is
fearful they can be made to believe almost anything about the "others."

This leads to hate and Selco tells us that's when everything either
begins to break down or the situation is manipulated to control the
people.
