On NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse defended Congress’ authority to reign in Supreme Court corruption and require justices to abide by ethical standards -- saying "the problem with the Supreme Court is that they are in a fact-free zone as well as an ethics-free zone."

As NBC host Chuck Todd repeatedly took up right-wing claims that Congress can't legislate Supreme Court ethics, Senator Whitehouse repeatedly reminded him that Congress "absolutely can…the ethics reporting law that is at the heart of the Clarence Thomas scandal is a law passed by Congress."

Sen. Whitehouse chairs the powerful subcommittee that oversees federal courts and has been at the forefront of efforts to reform the Supreme Court for years. And that’s where we need him!

Bold leadership deserves our support. Watch Sen. Whitehouse school NBC's Chuck Todd here. Then, chip in $3 to keep him in the Senate. Whitehouse is up for re-election in 2024, and needs to focus on reigning in Supreme Court corruption -- not attending fundraisers.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
