Dear John, This month, Tim Scott and Ron DeSantis both announced that they're running for President — and that if elected, they'll support a national abortion ban. Trump has also recently claimed credit for enabling the fall of Roe. In short, Republican candidates are doubling down on their anti-abortion extremism, despite countless stories of the harm abortion bans cause and voters repeatedly denouncing their policies. So let's end this month with a clear statement that we won't let them get away with it. MAKE A STATEMENT If they're willing to put this unpopular position front and center, they're willing to do anything. That's why we need to codify the federal right to an abortion and organize to ensure that we take back control of the House. Let's make it abundantly clear that they can't win by rolling back our rights.
