The decision to have a child should rest solely between a woman and her doctor. Period.

That’s what I believe, and that’s what millions of people across Arizona and our country believe. Yet as I say that, extreme Republicans are doing everything they can to strip away our reproductive rights and criminalize abortion.

In this most recent legislative session, I broke a veto record by shutting down the GOP’s attempts to restrict abortion access.

They drafted numerous bills threatening our reproductive freedoms, and thanks to our tireless efforts last year, I had the power to stop every single one of their attempts.

As Governor, I’m doing everything I can to protect women in our state, but the reality is I can’t do this alone.
