We are nearly six months into the GOP majority in the House. As a former professor, it’s time for a midterm evaluation…

To start, the early days were fraught with division – an historic 15 ballots to name a Speaker.

Then with their house “in order” (I’m being generous), my colleagues across the aisle got to work – further attacking abortion and women’s reproductive freedom.

All this while far-right interest groups appeal to a far-right, Trump appointed Judge in Texas to block access to Mifepristone – medication approved by the FDA decades ago to treat miscarriages and ensure safe abortions.

If you ask me, my colleagues across the aisle are out of touch – and they’re failing the American people.

But, friend, know this – their constant attacks only strengthen my commitment to continue this important work – and to retake the House next year. Tomorrow is my end-of-month deadline — the last before our public filing in June — and my team has set a goal to raise $10,000 in 48 hours.
