During their five months in the majority, House Republicans have dragged us toward the brink of a catastrophic debt default, staggered through 15 embarrassing Speaker votes, failed to pass any meaningful legislation, and wasted our tax dollars on bogus investigations of President Biden and other Democrats.

And if you thought it couldn't get any more disturbing, Marjorie Taylor Greene just spent $100,000 to buy Kevin McCarthy’s used lip balm at a backroom GOP fundraising auction last week.

I’m going to make you a vow right here, right now: Your contributions to my campaign will NEVER be wasted on creepy, butt-kissing gestures or useless status symbols.

As absurd as it often is to have to work alongside the ongoing GOP clown show, I still wake up every morning feeling pretty damn grateful that you’ve entrusted me to do this job. And I intend to do it well, no matter how loud or chaotic the circus gets.
