In case you missed it, Donald Trump delivered a State of the Union address this week that was partisan and divisive -- as we would come to expect from this president.
He claimed credit for the growing economy.
He reaffirmed his support for harsh, inhumane anti-immigrant policies.
He made false claims about his health care positions -- all while his administration is trying to undermine the Affordable Care Act in court.
These are just a few of the problematic and misleading things he said during his speech. But we want to hear what you think. Take our State of the Union survey now.
It’s safe to say that the state of our union right now is not strong. As a country, we’re more divided than we’ve been in a very long time.
We have a responsibility to support leaders who want to bridge the divides and start bringing people together again. This is a major reason we need to re-elect Cory, so we have a voice in the Senate who will counter Donald Trump’s hatred and bigotry with a message of love and unity.
