I’ve been working hard in the Senate for the past few years to pass legislation that addresses the issues that matter most to Wisconsin’s working families. From lowering the cost of insulin and other life-saving prescriptions to protecting marriage equality, I’m proud of the positive change we’ve made in the Senate.

But there’s more to be done, and it's clearer than ever that we’ll need to hold onto our Democratic Senate majority to keep up the progress our working families are counting on.

You see, Senate Republicans’ agenda has become more and more extreme. They’re threatening cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and even voting to limit reproductive healthcare access for veterans. It’s unacceptable.

That’s why we need to protect our Democratic Senate majority. But Democrats will be on defense across the country next year — including here in Wisconsin. You can bet dollars to donuts Mitch McConnell and his right-wing allies will do and spend whatever it takes to flip my seat and reclaim the Senate majority.

But this team is no stranger to a tough fight. We’ve proved over and over again that the strength of our grassroots team is no match for right-wing special interests and dark money groups.

Now, we all need to step up to be victorious once more. We’ve done it before, and I know we can do it again. That’s why I’m humbly asking:

Will you pitch in ahead of our important May end-of-month deadline to protect my Senate seat and our Democratic majority? We have a tough fight ahead of us, but together, I know this team is capable of anything.
