Friend,
Today I'm reaching out to respectfully ask if you would make a $3 contribution to my campaign before midnight.
Let me briefly explain why:
The end of May means there’s just one month until we will have to submit our next quarterly fundraising report to the FEC. Lots of people – from the GOP and special interests to our opponents – will look closely through our report to see if we have what it takes to win in IL-17 once again.
We’re aiming to raise $20,000 in online donations by the end of May to stay on pace. If we meet our monthly goals, our FEC numbers will send a clear message about the strength behind our movement. That will put us in a good early position to defend this seat.
Please use this link to contribute to our re-election campaign before midnight tonight. Any amount helps, but $3 will go a long way.

As a reminder, the Republicans’ campaign committee (the NRCC) has already named me as one of their top targets in 2024 -- and they’ve been attacking me non-stop in recent weeks. There’s no doubt that soon enough, GOP dark money will start pouring into this race, making our grassroots fundraising efforts – right now – all the more important.
So, if you can, please make a $3 contribution to my campaign by midnight.
Thank you,
Eric
