As early as fifth grade, Dylan was beginning to speak up to help others learn more about people with autism. "Teaching my classmates about autism allowed them to understand why I did the things I did", he shares.

"When you can understand why, you can relate on a personal level,” Dylan says. “The parts of me that were different were seen as unique characteristics of me. My classmates were incredibly receptive."
