The last month has been a doozy:

  • GOP lawmakers in North Carolina—several of whom lied directly to their constituents—passed an extreme and dangerous ban on abortion, overriding the governor's veto. With bans in place across the south, access is out of reach for millions.
  • The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals—the most extreme appeals court in the country—heard oral arguments in the mifepristone case that threatens to effectively ban medication abortion as we know it. The anti-abortion lawyers and the three-judge panel lied repeatedly about medication abortion during arguments.
  • Twice-impeached former President Donald Trump, in a race to the bottom for GOP support, claimed "I killed Roe v. Wade" because of his Supreme Court picks—a vivid reminder of the stakes of the upcoming election.
