College and high school students should apply by June 5th for a chance to win $1,500.
Americans United for the Separation of Church and State

Dear Friend,

I wanted to make sure you saw that AU’s 2023 Student Video Contest deadline was extended until next Monday, June 5th.

Now’s the time to submit your video for the chance to win up to $1,500 – or, if you’re not a student, help us spread the word!

No video experience or expertise is needed. All you need is a phone (or any kind of camera) and a vision for church-state separation. Videos must be between 2-4 minutes long and they can be as simple as speaking into the camera, or more elaborate if you have a creative idea.

Want some ideas of what to submit? Watch this video:

Student Essay Contest Deadline Extended to June 5!

With separate prize categories for high school and college students, you could win between $500-$1,500. Winners also have the chance to be published by AU online. Visit our website to learn more about the contest, the prizes and how to enter.

The contest is open to high school students and undergraduate students attending any 2- or 4-year college or university. Students must live in the United States including the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories. The deadline to enter is June 5.

If you are not an eligible student, please take a moment to share this contest with students you know. This is a great way to bring them into our movement for church-state separation.

I can’t wait to see what students submit this year!
