It’s one of my favorite sayings—whether it's about my kids’ promise to
clean their room or Congress’ plan to get things done, deadlines keep us
on track.

Our May end of month deadline is Wednesday at midnight, and we could

Hitting our May goal is important because we’re a month out from our end
of quarter deadline. That’s the one where we publicly report how much
we’ve raised to the Federal Election Commission. The number we report
sends a big signal about the strength of our campaign.

We’re a bit behind where we need to be in order to hit our end of quarter
goal. So we’re trying to raise $25,000 more over email before the end of
May to get us back on track. I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs or
federal lobbyists, so raising money through emails like this one is
