Podesta and corporate Republicans are pressuring Joe Biden into expanding
fossil fuel extraction by signing off on Joe Manchin's dirty deal.

Even though Our Revolution helped kill Manchin's bill 3 times, it's like a
corporate-financed zombie that refuses to die, and Republicans are
insisting on it in their debt ceiling hostage negotiations.

Fascism is the merger of corporate and state power, and attempting to
force an unpopular and environmentally devastating dirty deal down our
throats despite broad opposition exemplifies a total disregard for
democracy and public will.

Manchin's dirty deal proposal is an environmental justice disaster that
fast-tracks fossil fuel projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline at the
expense of frontline communities.

It would also shorten timelines for public input of permit applications
under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Clean Water Act
(CWA) — crippling the public's ability to stop projects that destroy
communities.
