By supporting parents, we can ensure they have all the tools available to support their kids.
"Research clearly shows that when young people – whose brains and bodies are undergoing significant change and development – use nicotine, alcohol and marijuana, they are at measurably higher risk than adults who do so of using other addictive substances, developing a substance use disorder, and worsening their mental health."
- Linda Richter, Senior Vice President, Prevention Research & Analysis
We kicked off our 2023 fundraising drive to help families prevent and overcome addiction during Mental Health Awareness Month because, in the U.S., we are experiencing both a mental health and drug crisis among youth.
With over 40% of high school students reporting persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, increasing rates of suicide, and skyrocketing overdoses from fentanyl, we need to support parents immediately and in every way we can.
At the Partnership, we strive to provide every family with cost-free access to our life-saving support programs, to personalized coaching sessions, and to the latest educational information and research developed by experts in the field of substance use, addiction and mental health.
Your contribution will help us reach more parents and get them the resources they need to support their children through difficult times.
Addressing challenges this big is going to take all of us. Quickly let your friends and family know about how they can take action with the links below.
