Is this some kind of joke?

EMERGENCY: Your government just approved the NIH to fund ANOTHER ROUND of painful crippling experiments on monkeys. With your rapid response, we can cancel the funding and stop the torture before it begins. But we understand if you would rather unsubscribe.

Taxpayer – I just don't get it.

There's been an AWFUL show of support for our new rapid response campaign:

Maybe folks just stopped caring about monkeys in labs?

Taxpayer, whatever the reason, this trend is bad news.

You see, the first few days following the launch of a new rapid response campaign are the most critical.

If we can't show an initial surge of grassroots support, the pro-animal testing lobby will gauge it as a sign of weakness.

Even worse, Congress will assume the issue is not a priority among taxpayers.

We still have time to turn this around – but not much.

That's why I'm personally throwing everything I have into this fight by matching every single donation dollar-for-dollar until our deadline TOMORROW.

Taxpayer, you read that correctly.

From my own pocket, I will PERSONALLY double every dollar you send up to $35,000 for our campaigns to end government monkey experimentation and also maximize our chances of turning this around.

The White Coat Waste Project is the ONLY group to have successfully shut down government labs that test on monkeys in nearly a decade:

  • CLOSED a $9M Veterans Affairs (VA) lab where they severed the spines of "calm and easy to handle" vervet monkeys.

  • ENDED a $7M lab at the VA where they drilled holes into skulls and addicted monkeys to Angel Dust

  • ANNIHILATED a $5.5M lab at the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) where baby monkeys were addicted to nicotine.

In fact, we recently SLASHED monkey testing at the FDA by nearly half and retired the survivors! (No other group has ended any at all).

As you can see, there is a direct connection between rapid fundraising success and rapid lab closures: You give. We win. They survive.

But for the NIH 9, that's just not happening this time, Taxpayer.

Now here's the urgent deadline: I'm personally matching every single gift until MIDNIGHT tomorrow – because I know that if we come up short, then 9 more monkeys are going to die horribly in NIH's brain damage experiments.

Please send help!!!

Taxpayer —if we've ever needed your help, it's right now.

9 MORE MONKEYS are in DANGER of being CRIPPLED and EXTERMINATED by National Institutes of Health (NIH) white coats.

Just a few days ago: Our investigators discovered that the NIH extended funding for one of the worst primate experiments I've ever seen.

The experiments take place in a taxpayer-funded lab at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the video footage we've uncovered is absolutely heartbreaking:

Taxpayer, unless we take immediate action to cancel payout #R01NS045962, this is what could happen to another family of primates:

  • SOLITARY CONFINEMENT: She's locked up — all alone, in a tiny, steel cage.
  • DRILLS & SCREWS: Government white coats drill holes into her skull and screw in a restraining device. She can't move a muscle.
  • CRIPPLED: Then, the bureaucrats inject toxins into her body to destroy parts of her brain. She loses control of her hands and feet.
  • SLAUGHTERED: Finally, she's killed — along with the rest of her family.

TAKE EMERGENCY ACTION >>

Yes, this nightmare is very real — and it's a recurring one.

In fact, you've been paying the $5.7M million tax bill... since 2004! [PAYOUT #R01NS045962]

But 19 years of monkey torture isn't enough for the NIH's white coats. They want to cripple and slaughter EVEN MORE of these sweet, intelligent creatures over the next year... and waste another $646K of our hard-earned tax dollars to do it!

But Taxpayer, here's the good news: We can still cancel the funding before the torture resumes, but ONLY if we can fund our NEW rapid response effort before the deadline.

Will you take immediate action today to help us stop NIH white coats before they begin torturing more primates?

TAKE EMERGENCY ACTION >>

Mackie, to stop taxpayer-funded animal testing, you must first stop wasteful government spending. Our strategy? Stop the MONEY. Stop the MADNESS!

That's why WCW is the only organization to have successfully shut down government primate labs in nearly a decade — no other group has closed any at all.

Remember the VA's $7 million Angel Dust lab in Minneapolis? Or its $9 million monkey crippling lab in West Haven? You gave generously — and we ended both quickly.

And remember the FDA's cruel $5.5 million baby nicotine addiction experiments? You stepped up. We stopped the experiments cold — and retired the survivors to a sanctuary!

In fact, with your help, we've slashed the FDA's primate abuse by 44%!

Now Taxpayer, I'm calling on you again. Will you help us end the NIH's primate testing program and prevent the torture of 9 more primates?

19 years is long enough,

Justin Goodman

Senior Vice President

White Coat Waste Project

P.S. What's happening at Emory University is criminal. But since NIH payout #R01NS045962 got extended, we must move especially quickly.

We started a new rapid response fund because the most effective way to stop a government experiment is to stop its funding as quickly as possible. Even $1 could help us defund this lab, end NIH primate experiments, and rescue the survivors.

Are you in?

Taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay $20 billion+ for wasteful government animal experiments.
