This week, President Trump repeated one of his most outrageous lies: 
 
During his State of the Union address, he lied to the American people and said, “We will always protect patients with pre-existing conditions.” This is false. 
 
 
Don’t just take our word for it — the New York Times, CNN, and PolitiFact unequivocally agree: 

CNN, NY Times, PolitiFact: This claim is false

Here are the facts: Right now, the Trump administration is in court trying to end the Affordable Care Act and take away pre-existing condition protections for over 130,000,000 Americans.
 
Xavier is fighting to stop this because here in California, we believe everyone should be able to access quality and affordable healthcare.
